Hands On Central Texas & RSVP are excited to present the Agency Workshop Series, presented by Spansion. The goal of the workshop series is to provide organizations that utilize volunteers with training and resources that will improve their volunteer program, and ultimately increase their volunteer pool. The workshop series addresses a variety of topics throughout the volunteer management cycle, from the basics to marketing to relevant trends in the field. .

Quality Volunteer Provider (QVP) Certification
QVP Certification rewards organizations that have shown a commitment to providing volunteers with meaningful, high quality volunteer experiences.

Organizations and volunteer programs are certified as Quality Volunteer Providers by doing the following:

• Attend three volunteer management trainings through the Agency Workshop Series.
• Demonstrate adherence to the Standards for Quality Assurance Standards for Volunteer Programs in Texas.
• Complete an audited group volunteer project; post-project feedback is provided by volunteers, as well as Hands On Central Texas senior staff and/or advisory board members.
  

Once organizations receive a successful project evaluation, they are certified as Quality Volunteer Providers by Hands On Central Texas and United Way Capital Area.

Benefits of the QVP Certification
Organizations certified as Quality Volunteer Providers will receive priority on volunteer referrals and corporate volunteer projects & special recognition on the Hands On Central Texas website.

Who Can Attend
The Agency Workshop Series are for volunteer managers or anyone who works with volunteers.

Nonprofit & faith-based organizations, schools and government entities are welcome!

Cost and Registration
There will be a nominal fee of $25 per workshop session. HOCT will provide scholarships that will allow organizations to participate for only $10 per session. In the case of a team training approach, the fee is $60 per team/organization.
