The following organizations and volunteer programs have shown a commitment to providing volunteers with meaningful, high-quality volunteer experiences. United Way Capital Area, Hands On Central Texas and the HOCT Advisory Council which consists of volunteer leaders from IBM, Freescale, Dell, AMD, Spansion, Communities In Schools and Aids Services of Austin highly recommend volunteering with these newly certified Quality Volunteer Providers.

Organizations and volunteer programs are certified as Quality Volunteer Providers by doing the following:

• Attend three volunteer management trainings through the Agency Workshop Series
• Demonstrate adherence to the Standards for Quality Assurance Standards for Volunteer Programs in Texas.
• Complete an audited group volunteer project; post-project feedback is provided by volunteers, as well as Hands On Central Texas senior staff and/or advisory board members.
  

Once organizations receive a successful project evaluation, they are certified as Quality Volunteer Providers by Hands On Central Texas and United Way Capital Area.
